A close-up of a water jet cutter at work. The machine is cutting detailed designs from a sheet of material.

Capable of slicing into a vast range of materials including such as metal, glass, brick, and plastics using a jet of water at high velocity and pressure, or a mixture of water  and an abrasive substance in certain circumstances. It's possible to cut multiple sheets of material at one time also, which makes it an effective cutting option for large  quantities of parts   and a great process for the manufacture of flooring designs, decorative screens, signage and so much more. If you have a design, we can cut it for you.

We use the Flow Water jet because it allows us to easily cut through a wide variety of materials with incredible precision including metal, stone, plastic, glass, ceramics, rubber, wood and more. In its simplest form, it's just water that gets pressurized up to 87,000 psi and flows from a pump into a cutting head.

40 years ago, a small group of former Boeing research scientists started what is now known as Flow International Corporation, the leading manufacturer of ultrahigh-pressure (UHP) technology with approximately 60 percent worldwide market share. A few years later, Dr. Mohamed Hashish invented the process of adding abrasives to the standard water jet to enable it to cut through any hard material.
